Interview with Michael Turton - Living Overseas

This is an interview conducted on Nov. 19, 2015. Inspired by a true story.

ACCUPASS / KKTIX

Before we entered college, we were repetitively told that schoolwork, romance, and club activities are the three "credits" ones must take in their college lives. However, these all happen on campus. I believe to a university student, what we do off campus contributes to who we are equally as much as what we've learned on campus. For people who desire a light backpacking experience, SocICE will start an introduction series about bus/train routes in the near future. And for those eager learners, today's post is all about you.

New Year's Eve was around the corner and I finally gave up, when a friend of mine called. "Hey, did you receive my card or not," he sounded angry. "A card? You sent me a card?!!" I rushed downstairs to see if there was any mail for me but all I got was this answer from the matron,"We receive only packages here. All letters will be sent to the Office of Student Affairs." What?!  I hurried to the second floor of the Cafeteria and then I found this.

The AV Center

Like every other university in the world, Chang Gung has its own motto: 勤勞樸實, which literally means diligence and plainness. Based on this attitude, things tend to last long until they are really out of use. Among all these 1980-ish facilities, the AV center is one of them that I don't complain much about.
